T1DM did not  stopped Anne to pursue her passion. She is an educational researcher and defended her PhD in the University fo Cambridge, in the UK. 

 

She  is an advocate for education equality and open science enthusiast.  

 

She has  been insulin independent after her first islet transplantation for last 3 months with A1c 5.3 .
